The Curse Motif of the Atonement – Sproul

In the third chapter of Galatians, verse thirteen, the apostle Paul said this:

“Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us–for it is written, ‘Cursed is everyone who is hanged on a tree’—”

In this message, R.C. Sproul takes the listener on a journey through the Scriptures, examining and unpacking the concept of curse, an idea that is often overlooked, but one that is gloriously relevant to the cross.  I cannot say that I’ve ever heard this expounded quite so clearly and ably.  It is for this reason that I heartily recommend it to you.

Difficulty: Beginner to Intermediate

Must Listen Factor:  It’s a must listen.  Not only is it for everyone, but it brings to life a vital element of our Savior’s work on our behalf.
